Mixology first formed in 2018 with a goal: to become one of Canada’s top-scoring mixed a cappella choruses and win the right to represent Canada at the world competition, Bing! Musikfestival in Germany. We were very proud to accomplish that goal after a lot of hard work, performances, practices, and competition. But then, one week from boarding flights when then the global pandemic shut the world down. Bing! was cancelled along with just about everything else.
In Fall 2025, we did something extraordinary: we won this opportunity again! This year, we have won another chance, a second, incredible opportunity: Mix was invited to March at Bing! Musikfestival 2026 (BMF2026) in Wuppertal, Germany. Some of the best mixed a cappella ensembles from around the world came together to compete, connect, and sing together.
To make this dream possible, we needed your help. Costs for registration, travel, accommodations, and other competition-related expenses added up quickly. The help of donations and angel fund contributions helped make the trip affordable for our singers and cover essential costs.
Our community cheered and rallied: • Each dollar offsets essential travel expenses. • Donations ensure singers of all financial backgrounds can participate. • Funds help send a little bit of K-W to the world stage.
