✨ We’ve been waiting six years to write this… ✨
Back in 2018, Mixology A Cappella came to life in Kitchener-Waterloo with a vision: to one day sing on the world stage—and represent Canada while doing it.
In 2019, that dream started to take shape. We won the national competition and were invited to the Bing! Musikfestival in Germany (taking place in March 2020).
Flights were booked. Plans set in motion. We were ready.
Then… everything stopped.
Like the rest of the world, we had to hit pause.
But we didn’t stop dreaming. And we definitely didn’t stop performing. We have sung at festivals, in musicals, at conventions, holiday events, private events, porch festivals, street festivals, weddings, and of course, at our own featured concerts!
And now? It’s happening. We’ve been invited to compete in the worlds – at the Bing! 2026 A Cappella Love World Championship in Wuppertal, Germany.
Getting to go to the worlds is more than just another upcoming performance for Mix. It’s a moment we’ve worked toward for years – one of the reasons we rehearse, push boundaries, and pour our hearts into every note.
We’re proud to help represent Canada on an international stage. But we could use a little help getting there.
